As the Founder of Faculty Insurance, Andre Mendez opened the agency doors in April of 2015. In the midst of the growing big business insurance companies, Andre was inspired to preserve the beauty of personal yet professional service to provide a level of service that every client deserves. With over 10 years of experience in the insurance business, Faculty Insurance is a total insurance resource for both business owners and families. With education as a priority, clients always feel that they are well-informed and properly insured to ensure a secure future.
Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, Andre has enjoyed all that Los Angeles has to offer. With a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Cal State Northridge, he has committed himself to build long-lasting relationships that have given him the opportunity and experience with assisting his clients with their risk management needs. In his spare time, he enjoys riding the Topanga Canyons, snowboarding in the northern mountains, soaking up the sun at the beach, and spending time with his family and friends.

Alex Romero is a 12-year veteran Licensed Property and Casualty Broker. Prior to becoming an Insurance Agent, Alex spent time working in the managed healthcare and banking industries. He is an avid broker with specialty skills in commercial lines of insurance. She began her career as a professional in Real Estate as an agent discovering her gift for people and the desire she had to help them. Since 2015, Hilda has been blazing her path in the insurance industry. Staying true to her passion for people and to be resourceful she has been building a business as an independent insurance agent with Faculty insurance. She focuses on Property and Casualty and Group Health. She works with Families, businesses, and the community which she enjoys every minute of it.
